CHARLES D. TAYLOR
Founder | B.A., LL.B. | He/Him | Neepawa
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Winnipeg and taking some time off to go backpacking through Europe with his friends, Charlie returned home to continue his education and receive his Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Manitoba. After graduating, he worked for The Manitoba Land Titles Office and the law firm of Pybus Chornus Smith in Winnipeg.

Moving to Neepawa in 1975 with his wife, Vicky, Charlie joined the firm of Hersch Lerner and Dale Braun. In time, this this changed to a partnership with Bob Cummings. Then in the 1980’s, Charlie took over the firm as sole owner and operated Taylor Law Office with the assistance of Michael Davids (2001-2021) and Sarah Fast (2016-2021) until Taylor Law Office amalgamated with Patersons LLP becoming Taylor Law Patersons LLP in July of 2021.

Charlie and Vicky have two sons, and three grandchildren whom they enjoy spending their time with. When he is not in the office you can find Charlie spending time with Vicky at their cabin in the Whiteshell Provincial Park, or on the Neepawa golf course working on improving his swing.
Although he loves spending his time in his community, Charlie and his wife also are avid travellers and have toured Europe extensively and enjoyed numerous trips to Mexico over the years.

Currently, Charlie is president of the Neepawa Lions Club, a board member of the Neepawa Senior Citizen Housing Inc., and a member of the Neepawa Golf and Country Club.

Patersons LLP acknowledges with respect and gratitude that our offices are located on Treaty 2 Lands which are the traditional homelands of the Dakota, Cree, Oji-Cree, Anishanabek, Dene and Metis peoples.
