Paterson Patterson Wyman & Abel is proud to sponsor, with the Manitoba Scholarship and Bursary Initiative, a $500.00 annual bridging scholarship to Assiniboine Community College. This award is given to a student enrolled in the legal principles course through the Business Administration Diploma program at ACC, who has demonstrated a high level of achievement in each of the following criteria areas:

• Shows an active consistent dedication to a community interest that advances a greater good for the community;
• Has demonstrated academic achievement by earning a minimum of a B+;
• Has demonstrated academic achievement in the first year of the diploma program by earning a minimum of a B;
• Be returning to the second year of the Business Administration program at ACC;
• If two students are equally qualified, the financial need will be the main consideration for choosing the successful applicant.

Paterson Patterson Wyman & Abel also sponsors, together with the Brandon Chamber of Commerce, an annual scholarship gift of $500.00 to a Brandon University student. This award is given to a student on the basis of academic performance who has demonstrated a high level of achievement in each of the following criteria areas:

• An above average grade in Business Law I or its equivalent;
• Demonstrates active, consistent dedication to an outside interest that advances the greater good of the community, based on a minimum of one letter of reference from a non-profit organization;
• If two students are equally qualified, the financial need will be the main consideration for choosing the successful applicant.
